Pollença to Sóller
We sailed the rugged northwest coast of Mallorca from the Port of Pollença (Pollensa), rounded Cap de Formentor, and worked our way to the Port of Sóller. We had intended to take more than 4 days, but many of the calas were full with vacationers during the last week in August, and then we had to seek safe harbor due to approaching weather systems.
Once again you two allow this old land based mariner to experience the thrills of your voyages. What beautiful vistas you enjoy and the ability to cruise in such terrific waters. Love reading of your travels and seeing the photographs. Thanks David and Vicky for keeping this old dry docked sailor in tune with the cruising life.
Harvey, thank you for your gracious feedback. It makes us happy to know you’re enjoying our posts. We hope you and Charlotte have adjusted to having disembarked from MV Misty Lady. We’re not sure when we’ll be at CYC next (likely not for awhile due to travel restrictions, etc.), but we’ll hope to see you when we are. David & Vicki
